Project contents: Web Design, Illustration
Background
JetFuel Agency is a digital marketing team that specializes in crafting, assessing, and optimizing the online marketing strategies of its clients. Recently, they've decided to expand their offerings while branching off some of its teams into separate entities: one focusing on design and another that offers Pay-per-click and email marketing services. Jumping in as both Web Designer and Illustrator, I was given the task of design landing pages for the newly minted brands. The challenge that lay ahead was outfitting each page with the proper flow, colors, and illustrations to sell customers on the offerings while also maintaining visual consistency across the pages.
Take Off!
The first page I took on was the landing page for its Design team, simply called Design Studio. Given its nature, it was important to use of a ton of graphics off the bat to demonstrate the capabilities of the team advertised. JetFuel wanted a cheerful, friendly and quirky approach that made full use of the company's rocket and space theme. We came up with a pair of characters to portray the client-service relationship throughout the length of the page: the T-rex representing the client being assisted in its quest to the stars by the crafty scientists (the agency).
In peppering the landing pages with illustrations, I coordinated with fellow illustrator Stephanie Ann Chau.

The second brand is titled Rocket Launch, and it offers two services and a landing page each where I applied the same color scheme and proclivity for illustrations. We experimented with a "kawaii" approach by literally rounding out the mascots into "chibi" versions which I personally prefer. I first used these in the Email Marketing landing page below.
Following the same direction, I also designed a landing page for the Pay-per-click services.
Aside from the off-shoot brands, I also created stock illustrations for JetFuel's main marketing team. This flagship brand makes use a red and blue color scheme.
